Not bad at all from a HP branded compact, certainly nice pictures like these can help a lot! Excellent series!

I was conquered then by the natural , balanced colors (much better than most digital cameras in that time -2003-2005) . Now I realise that this little camera had a 37-300 Fuji zoom and I dare to say that it shows ) .If I had tis camera now (It was borrowed) I'd try to strip that lens out and try to adapt it to my NEX 3 Laughing Laughing

Cannibalize lens rare successful when feeding of curiosity is over poor lenses , cameras find their self in garbage. It looks a really good camera better to keep it and still use it. I have Olympus 4000 from this years, it has full manual control so excellent light meter and memo camera for film shoots.

Unfortunately , short after I used it for these pictures , that camera was broken by a friend .It seems that it was a precursor of the "bridge" cameras from today. Yes you are right , hard to adapt such a lens .
