Beautiful. This one looks like the holy grail of old lenses, I don't think I have seen a nicer performance of any old cine lens. Have you tried it out for portraits? I would love to see how it does there.

Today a few architectural shots from a recent trip to Romania when I had that lens with me. All shots from Brasov / Transsylvania, a city I really like a lot. Note the german lettring on that warehouse in the first image, germans founded that city in the 13th century http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Braşov and still that is visible up until today.

that last one is just a "bokeh shot".

And one from "Piata Sfatului" also from Brasov

When I went home later a shot at the blue hour

Beautiful old buildings.
Funny that Hollywood-like lettering on the hill Smile

Yes indeed Orio. Old glory but no maintenance during the communist regime, sad, but is has a certain "charme". That sign was a donation by some guy once, but from there (Timpa mountain) one has a breathtaking look over the city. A cable car runs up that hill.

Not my shot, but an impressive winter shot taken from there: http://teaca.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/brasov-de-pe-timpa.jpg

A few from today. That sharpness, color, special bokeh and background separation capability still amazes me...
