hi,
I Had a previus topic where i wanted to know the maker of the helios 135mm 2.8.
http://forum.mflenses.com/helios-135mm-2-8-japanese-made-t40349.html
and i knew i had seen the style before.
I started to look trough my lenses en found a helios 28mm 2.8 that look familiar and has the same writing and symbols on it.
maybe anyone might recognize the 28mm style and help me further.
Also this one is a decent performer wide open.
Thanks
same flower shot as with the 135mm

My first thought is that this is a Cosina lens, it certainly has that look. I thought the aperture triangle might have made it a Cimko, but it's a solid triangle, so I suspect not. _________________ Graham - Moderator

Certainly looks nice. Good colour and seems sharp. One to look out for! |

I've the same lens but mine is soft, and very soft around 4... Well, no, it's not softer, but everything "glows".
Sad, because it's a very compact lens and very pleasant to manipulate. _________________

I have one of these too ... came in a M42 mount. Says " lens Made in Japan" ... I did a lens test on it and found it very sharp and great colours.... _________________ Analog Street Photographer based in Dublin Ireland.
