Here is where Velvia seems to excel. The greens and yellows are as
they came out of the camera. They were VERY saturated - almost
dazzling - when I first spotted the colors, and Velvia picked that up.
But perhaps I was just dazzled because of all the sweat and
actual CRAWLING through brush to get here! Shocked I am pretty
confident that no one has ever stood here before, unless they were
insane enough to make the effort.

I see what you mean, poilu...I am going to look for an image where the mountain range shows up better. Thank you for the tip, and thanks for looking.

I have some P6 slides in gallery here. Doing some portraiture work. Then from Fujica will only be some new ones after I finish roll. Although have some older threads here in gallery too.

The dimensionality and feel is hand-felt, I can grasp those straws. The color and light is... well everything is. I would love to see this as a large print, as the downsized web pic doesn't give justice to the majestic scenery.

Thanks Vilhelm (and all of you). The transparency is MUCH better than
this web rendition, of course.

The lighting was actually somewhat muted at the scene. I was thinking that I
could manipulate the lighting in Photoshop to be "brighter", but then it would
not be true to what was there. So...I left it muted, like it was in real life.
