One important drawback of this system is that there's only one focusing helicoid for all lenses. This means that the focusing range is enormous for wide-angle lenses, but rather short for tele lenses. In the case of this Lithagon the minimum focusing distance is quite close. And it appears to be doing quite well close-up!
