Well the sun barely shone today, but I managed to get around 5-10 mins of shots with my new Vario-Sonnar in between testing other lenses Smile

I definately need to spend more time with this lens...the way it renders is beautiful IMO. I noticed some CA when shooting typically horrible scenes (see the picture of the Blue Tit) which is interesting as many refer to this as an APO lens. Not sure if that's just a mis-conception or my lens is not quite right. I presume it's the former, as the lens is lovely and sharp Smile

The birds are great!
You should not worry about the CA: my copy shows a little CA in adverse conditions. It's a very well controlled lens but it's not an APO lens.
