Great captures, I am especially impressed by how you could avoid the glass to interfere much with the IQ
Lots of great ones but my favs are the rayfish, the one that follows it, and the last one (octopous)

P.S. your daughter is wiser than all of us Laughing

Actually fish thanks usually well lighted and even cheap lens give good result , key only how can you use faster speeds than fish move.

Special for me: #7 (little girl and jellyfish) and the last one.

if your daughter not bored in front of a fish, while there're many other fishes to see, that's strange Very Happy

thanks for nice comments

the fish I wait 5 minutes for is the rayfish, when I came it was swimming but immediately lay down on the sand
I was waiting her to move but she get scared of me and go to protect her child
my daughter didn't want to wait more and force me to leave Crying or Very sad

Budapest had good light and I could use 1/200s 2000iso f3.5
the jaws and big fish tanks were well lighted (less than Budapest) but smaller tanks were darker
the girl looking jellyfish is at 1/25s 6400iso f1.4
this octopus is 1/30s 3200iso f1.4 and for the last of the series I used 1/60s 6400iso f1.4

Wow, amazing! Surprised

Very impressive. Anytime I'm in an aquarium or zoo type setting I can't help but take very "snapshot" like pictures; ones that could have been just as good with a cheap p&s. You did very well to avoid this.

To me the first two are standouts because of the excellent framing with the diver. Good catches! (no pun intended)

thanks !

most prefer everything in focus, I like wide open but it can sometimes look overdone, matter of taste

The others wrote you everything ... really a great series where you did "miracles" to avoid the "aquarium effect" of the glass. I am really impressed.

Well done,

roby

it is because I select the pics with the less reflections Very Happy
subject that are near the glass are acceptable but water degrade quality very fast
on this one only the front diver is ok, right diver and shark are poor
this one have a lot of reflections, even a baby is visible in the center bottom
