@Attila - when does this "competition" end?
Since I'm working film, and unsure when the rolls are done for processing . . . Rolling Eyes

All taken in Piacenza with EOS 50D

McDonald's invasion - I hate that Evil or Very Mad It's ugly to see just as much as they're uneatable. Luckily they don't obtain much success here as you can see Wink

Now onto something nicer Smile The Bishop's Palace...

... and the Duomo

Here you can see a nice panoramic of the Piazza Cavalli, with one of the equestrian statues, and the big Palazzo Farnese in the background.

This is a stand of Emergency, to raise funds. Emergency is an international association of doctors that was founded by Italian Gino Strada.
The doctors of Emergency give their free medical assistance to the wounded people in war areas, especially to civilians like children.
They are active throughout the world, and especially in Afghanistan and Iraq, where they saved the lives of many children.
They are one of the (not many today, alas) reasons that make me proud of my nation. Needless to say, I donated to them Smile

Second Christmas Day / (St?) Stephans Day / Boxing Day walk

Most Finns eat huge amounts of ham and oven made potato-, carrot- and rutabaga-mash. On December 26th the need for fresh air is obvious. So most people take some sort of walk before eating more of the same stuff ..

Yes, the man is really going fishing .. Shocked
All pics Mir 1B and Takumar 120.
