Lens is a war time lens (1944 ) made for Arriflex 16mm cine lens, my copy has M39 and c mount both, converted professionally.
All pictures are sharpened, contrast and color modified with auto settings.

The pre-war quality is obvious in those shots. Great results, thanks for sharing!

(Will you also make some bokeh shots/close ups?)

Lens has no helicoid it is fixed to infinity , so I can't do it sorry.

Alex (hk300) has a short helicoid M42 front to mft rear - how about that?

The pics are great, I like that Biotar rendering of images anyway!

Yes, that would be a solution, I think this lens has very good image quality , so need to think about that or simple keep for infinity shooting.

they sure look special, lovely colors, a bit like old postcards Smile
great to see such an old lens in use!
