Lovely shots, I particularly like no. 2 and the last one. Seems to offer a decent sharpness and bokeh.

Me too. I think this lens has the quality to work better on film than on digital, aesthetically speaking.

Are you sure? I read some information in photo.net, and this lens is not commeneded. But I think most of opinion was written from who uses the film camera. On digital camera until now I have not got any complain.

I don't know, it's just my personal feeling. Lenses of this type can work together with film grain and contrast and create something unique that digital does not allow without post-processing.

No matter if this lens is better on film or digital (this would be a very interesting comparison and discussion, though), this is a very nice set of photos that you show!

I remember them talking about his lenses, technique, when this film was
made in '75. One of my favorites if you overlook Ryan O'Neal's terrible
acting. The cinematography and score (by the Irish Chieftains, mostly)
are exquisite. Yes, I have both the DVD and CD. Wink

Sorry, iha, you have a winner here, love these BW images!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYBODY!
Some shots in f1.2 around the local fair. Enjoy the warming feeling in this time!

This year is the year of golden pig.
