Nice pics here guys
Orio that is quite a 645 set you have. The sonnar 2.8/140 is a very interesting lens to me. How do you like it overall?
Is it a true sonnar? Zeiss seems to use the classic names sometimes but not the classic schemes that go with them.

I don't know, Andy. I don't think I ever saw the optical scheme of the lens.
I have three lenses for the 645, the 45mm Distagon, 80mm Planar and 140mm Sonnar. All three render in a very similar way. Perhaps the Distagon is the lens with the more "punch". The Sonnar 140 makes images that are sharp but with an "organic" feel, so I would say that the lens is faithful to the character of Sonnar lenses (as opposed to Planar).
The best lens for the 645 system is reputed to be the Makro-Planar 120mm, but I could never find one at an affordable price.

Got a British Ensign Selfix 16/20 Mk IV with 75mm f4.5 'ROSSTAR' lens from 1950's . The 'EPSILON' shutter is faulty as usual - slow speeds don't work but the LENS is very sharp -- I used up some very Old C41 Neg film to test.

Very festive!

Where did Christmas go? Already seems a distant memory.
