I bought this photosniper from flea market 2 weeks ago.
Seems to be in a great shape and came with hard case and the another lens. Was it 58/2 I think. and of course the zenit camera.
There is also 2 screw drivers Smile

I made the trigger release for the Canon with micro switch.
When I press the trigger the camera will take a photo just like with
the original zenit film body.

Here are test shots with 5D mk II (using the trigger of course Smile
All shots wide-open

I had this lens but it never produced a sharp image. The focus and aperture were far too annoying. I have the non-sniper model now.

Number 14 = Supporting ring for the zenit kamera (inside there is a pushing screw like the release pushing screw in number 12.

I took number 15" Clamping screw out and there is a hole.
Clued a micro switch inside the #14 supporting ring to the place where the pushing screw will press the switch when the trigger is pressed totally.
I used hot clue to clue the micro switch to the place.

Hot clue will be quite easy to remove afterwards compared to other clues.

Canon EOS remote shutter cable has 3 wires.
There is focus cable shutter release cable and the 3rd.

If you connect focus wire to the third it focuses.
Second cable and it triggers shutter. (this is what I did)

It works perfectly.
I can send a photo of it later.
I got the connector to the camera from cheap wired remote trigger.
Just cut the wire and welded 2 wires to the micro switch.

I was shooting my friends wedding on weekend and used the photosniper there too.
People where Shocked and it was quite funny Smile
