I now own a very clean Zenit-C, with an Industar-22 (red P), and a Jupiter-11;both appear to be clean and mechanically sound.
I love the feel of this camera, and love the viewfinder.Hoping to run some film through this soon. The shutter is a bit loud.
Best wishes _________________ kathmandu

Actually it's pulled down by a cord. There are actually some others that utilize the string as well including the Zenit 3 and Start cameras. |
