My Hex 1.8/40 will certainly be the first one I use when I get a NEX.

If you want small, compact,, Super Triplet Perar 28/4 or 35/3.5 is the only way to go.
Bring your big checkbook with you. Wink

wow Katastrofo, what an astonishingly small lens, thank you very much for pointing it out!
yes, costly Wink

the HEX 1.8/40 must be great and the Minolta f2/45 a fabulous lens
I have been wanting a 40ish lens for my APS-C cameras. Now I have "Pen-F" f1.4/40 for my NEX and as hoped and expected it's very nice for "portraits on the street"
Lately have been using wide lenses, "Pen-F" f3.5/20, Pentax K f2.8/30 also Sony SEL16 and SEL1855 but I expect to use the 1.4/40 often, I like the lens

my smallest high potential low weight package for the NEX is:

25mm CV F4
45 mm Tessar pancake F 2.8 ( here the adaptor needs some space )
75mm CV F 2.5 color heliar

O.T.: equivalent results for 1/3rd of the price i get with:

28mm Konica F 3.5
50mm Voigtländer Ultron F 1.8
85mm Rollei/Zeiss F 2.8

the advantage of set 2 is: if you loose a lens you feel the weight difference in your pocket Very Happy
