Great set, well done. Awesome lens too.

All pics at F1.4? (Planar shoots)

Thanks Smile Most were f1.4 although a few f2 (you can see hexagonal bokeh highlights) in one or two. It was a bit too dark for anything above that Wink

Loved #2 best, but this is a superb series. Haven't been to Winchester in years, but that was always one of my favourite cathedrals (especially after the song).

Thanks all Smile It was blooming freezing but thankfully most photos were sharp Laughing

patrickh, I don't visit Winch too often, but it has a certain sophisticated charm, particularly at Christmas Smile

TF - I fully expect you to get down there before Christmas and charge round that ice rink Laughing

Very atmospheric - Winchester is one of my favourite places..

I used to have a great shot of a huge icicle hanging from the beard of Alfred, that great statue that is a symbol of the fact that Winchester was once England's capital (and is a damn finer place than smokey old London..lol)

It also has Jane Austen's grave and a great display about its rescue from water undermining its foundations if I recall?

Well captured Christmas atmosphere.
These leneses are certainly somethig to be envious of, but it's clearly a skilled photographer behind the camera as well.

I have seen these (and commented on in your Flickr) and they are great. Good sharp images with wonderful colour. Gotta love Zeiss lenses. I must buy some!
