#3 is especially beautiful! Congrats!

Cheers, I think #3 is the best one too. I would have shot more but I forgot my rubber boots and it was incredibly muddy and you can never trust the mud here, it is likely half mud, half cow excreta!

I had to stand on the stone wall to shoot #3, I tried a few angles on that small river and couldn't get the right one as to climb down to the bottom of the small ravine was too slippy as it was so muddy.

I will return to this spot in summer when it is less muddy, it's only 3 miles from my house.

All of them are special, charming colours.

Does anybody know if the Primotar touches the mirror on the 5D?.

Regards.
Jes.

Thanks Jes, I doubt the Primotar will hit the mirror, it has no protuding element and is a preset so no auto pin either.

I would recommend this lens, also the Primagon 4.5/35 as well, both are great ones, the Primagon is a personal favourite, has zeiss-like 3D.

Don't think so, slow lens don't go back deeply

Maybe this (sorry for being slightly out of focus) picture helps, I drew a line where the back of the M42 threads are and a line where the back of the rear of the lens is:

Primotar is really sharp at f8:

Has anyone serviced a Meyer-Optik Görlitz Primotar E 1:3.5/50 V ???

I just received one, a 1955, it's real nice but needs a cleaning, a lube job and a shine....

Can i expect it to be as simple as dismantling a silver JUPITER 11

Any help would be very much appreciated...

Cheers Patrick, not done any landscape work for a while, I got bored of all the PP involved in making HDR stitches and fell in love with film but I must do some more digital landscape work soon, I have a commission to do this week actually, a lady would like a panorama of the mountain that overlooks my little town that shows her house at the foot of it.
