The adapters at $18.90 don't appear to have aperture coupling. _________________ John |

Yeah, he'll need one of these:
Click here to see on Ebay
Prices for the Nikon mount Tamron adaptall-2 adapters are often kind of high. I shopped around on eBay for a while before I finally found one that I was able to pick up for about $25US. _________________ Michael

$29.00 isn't to bad a price and there are a few more original adaptall-2 mounts on ebay as well....I'm sure he won't have any problem finding one, even if he has to wait for a lower price. _________________ Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...." Thanks for the research
I´m trying to get an old original one over a German forum. We´ll see if it works.

I was hoping to find the Komine version of the Vivitar 70-210 for a good price but now Russ has told the world, so I guess I'm out of luck (-: |

Well, it would be a shame if it was the other way round, imagine falling prices and less demand for things people have good experiences with... But I am also trying to find hidden gems _________________ http://www.1979fotographie.de/

I don't see mention of the Nikon Series E 70-210mm.
Rather a good zoom I thought (I sold it when I bought the AF Nikkor version). |

Well, did you like it better than the AF Nikkor version? I liked the build quality and handling of the AF 70-210, but I never liked the pictures, although they were sharp. _________________ http://www.1979fotographie.de/
