Which Soligor lenses are worth having?

I've 3 Tokina-made Soligor lenses, two of which are in exceptional
condition: 1) 400mm f/6.3, 2) 75-260mm f/4.5, and 3) 135mm f/2.8

My 400 and 75-260 have eluded my attempts to achieve infinity focus,
while the 135 was loaded with fungus, offering me a testbed for
disassembly and cleaning.

Hi Craig
Have you got a photo of the 135/2.8 by any chance?

I have two very well built preset Soligors:

a f3.5/180mm:

tested it for sharpness against a S-M-C Takumar f4/200 and the Soligor won quite decidedly at open apertures and corners.
It's build and use is very good, though small and light for a 3.5/180.
I'd say it's a 'recommended' but mind that I do not own nor have tested it against other teles.

because I liked this lens I later got a
f2.8/25mm preset:

but after a only very few test shots had discarded it as a weak lens.
for a definite opinion I should give it a more thorough go again

I had (or my family had)

Sorted by age
75/260 4.5/t4 (tokina made) : good lens
80/200 3.5 (makinon made ?) : good lens but not handy
70/220 3.5 (tokina made) : Very heavy / good at medium aperture (not stellar) and low at full ap / / macro supposed to go to 1:1.4 but at 1:1.4 subject touch the front element = no light !
24mm/2.5 g/s (sun made) : lightweight / very good at center / low at corner
35/70 2.5-3.5 (Tefnon made ?): very handy / very light + 2.5 aperture ! (still to sell on om mount)

+ 2x converter
+ 3x converter (not so bad !)

So, what's the best guess as to who made these "M" prefixed Soligors ?

Need a better picture that shows the side view.
By what I can see of the markings it could be a Cosina made lens.

If kuuan can please post a better picture that shows the side better. I think we can identify it.

I'd really like to add this to our Soligor identification list.

The pic's of my Soligors are at the top of page two, but here's the 135mm with the M 163924 serial number.

It's the chrome ears model.
