Check here. I just found this site:

He takes his pictures with a Canon EOS 5D and has samples with all the 35mm lenses you might be interested in.

While he has tested plenty of lenses, unfortunately he has'nt tested all the lenses that have have been recommended here...For example, he only tests the Nikon 35mm f2 and not the 35mm f1.4 AIS, which is known to be a better lens.

I like the Takumar 35 2.3 I got from here. THere's one in the marketplace now. Probably a little better for videos over stills, but still a unique lens.

I had this already but was not satisfied, a bad copy I think.

Some pictures taken with Nikkor 1.4/35. A friend of mine next door has this lens.

Very special wide open, DOF is very narrow. If you look at the old telephone, one is aperture 1.4, the other 2.0. 1.4 has some glowing in the reflection.
picture 1: 1.4
picture 2: 1.4
picture 3: 2.0
picture 4: 2.0 - this shows outstanding contrast, sharpness and bokeh I think
picture 5: 1.4 - sharp on the reflection of the right eye

Pictures are 1200 pixel - open link in new window for maximum size. I make upload of full size on request.

Some more test shots. At hard contrasts the lens is glowing very much I think. Is this normal, is it common with that fast lenses?

rear lens is near plane - but a little bit prodruding behind conon mount plane. You have to be careful with the lens.

ƒ/1.4

After colour correction:

ƒ/1.4

ƒ/2.0
