What mount is it?

Got a third-party lens in a lot which I thought first to be in PK mount. But it does not fit PK, neither any other adapter I have. Is it maybe Fujica-X mount for film? It is pretty large, close to PK and larger than OM and MD mounts.

I attach a frontal shot and a shot of the diaphragm scale, with a curious double indication. Sorry for the out-of-the-box dust which was not wiped off.

I thought the green FX on the lens body was a bit of a give away. Smile

This is what I supposed, wished to be sure.

The double indication of the f/# stop scale is probably to allow the scale to be visible through the Judas window in the finder of certain camera bodies. Tokina used to do this with their lenses for the MD generation of the Minolta SR mount too...

This makes me think of a further parallel, Voigtlander rangefinders which had, in their top segment, a similar mirror transmission of the lens values to the viewfinder.

It's hard work trying to buy adapters etc for 'old' Fujica X mount, when the modern APSC mount is very similarly named. Lots of trawling through identical listings, then perhaps somewhere in it all, the thing you wanted.

I found the presumably right one which is marked "FAX" instead of "Fujica-X".
