Hi guys,

I came across this lens on eBay but can't make out what mount it is!

http://cgi.ebay.de/Sehr-gut-erhaltenes-Auto-Vivitar-Wide-Angel-Objektiv-/160470688349?pt=DE_Elektronik_Computer_Foto_Camcorder_Objektive_PM#ht_534wt_1139

First I thought that it is minolta MD but the prong on the side is missing. I think it's no OM either. So what is it?

Any clues?

ciao,

Karhallarn

k-mount has a groove around the part of rear glass element where aperture pin is

Konika.....the black lug on the outer ring on the mount is a dead give-away Very Happy

I'm too lazy right now to drag out the boxes with my extra lenses, to check my three Konica pieces, but I CAN say this IS NOT a Pentax K-mount -- the black flag and aperture link are in the wrong position. On this lens, those structures are between two bayonet lugs. On a K-mount, they would be centered on one of those lugs. Looking at the lens mount page, a Konica lens should have a notch in one of the bayonet lugs, and I don't see that with this lens. Oh bother, I guess I'll ahve to dig up my Konica stuff after all... yes, there should be a notch in the lug just clockwise from the aperture link, and I just don't see that on this lens. Is a mystery...

You probably don't see it because you didn't click on the images to enlarge them. They have the notch exactly as you describe.
