we have a choice between pentacon 6 or Kiev 88. Since it has bayonet flanges it must be Pentacon 6 right? Or compatible with it so it would fit a p6 adapter? (It is a Kaleinar 3B 150mm 2.8 from 1991

It has Arsenal logo on it, so I guess it's got to be Pentacon 6? |

The mount looks identical to that on my Flektogon 50mm f/4, so yes Pentacon 6
I use my Flektogon with a K&F 'Concept' Pentacon-M42 adaptor on a Pentax DSLR with an M42-PK adaptor fitted. |

"Калейнар-3Б" means P6 mount. 88/Salut would be "Калейнар-3В", just like kansalliskala said.

I did have a 3B with a Pentacon mount. That was some diy hack that had maximum focusing distance of about 40 meters. _________________ MF: Kodak DCS SLR/c; Samsung NX10; OM-10; Canon T50

Luckily those mounts are quite different visually.
P6 has three defined narrow tabs, 88/Salut has something more like very wide triple start thread.

Thanks I couldn't find a comparison anywhere. The Seller said it was a Kiev-88 mount lens but maybe he used it on a kiev-88cm. I had not been paying attention assumung al kaleinar 150mm were pentacon six. _________________ pentaxian |
