Hi folks

I just converted my Sony A200 to Exakta mount to use my Exakta lenses with it.

I am now looking to add to my collection, I am particularly seeking wide angles below 50mm.

Hello,
I have some Re Auto-Topcor lenses, which (as I know) have the same mount, and their quality is well respected.
The wide ones are the 2.8/28 and 2.8/35, but I have a 1.8/58, 2.8/100 and a 3.5/135 too.
If you are interested, I can send you photos.

Hi

Yes, RE Topcors indeed have the same mount and I would be very interested in those as they have rather good reputations. I would love to see some pics and you could PM me about prices.

Ian

From what I know, most RE-Topcors will not works properly on Exakta camera unless you mod your camera using a Topcon RE camera as the donor.

Their auto aperture mechanism will hit the front plate and jam on the Exakta - you'd have to modify the front plate with a router or lathe so that the Topcon AA pin rides free. Nex adapters (and any other auto aperture ignorant adapter) will hold either mount variation.

I can recommend you to get the 2/50 Pancolar and 4/135 Alu Sonnar.
Can you please share how did you got the body converted? - you did it yourself or someone did it for you?

I have the 1.8/50 Pancolar and a beautiful Steinheil Auto-Tele Quinar 3.5/135.

I did the conversion myself, it was quite easy.

I will take pics tomorrow, off to work now.
