Voigtlander Superb Skopar

I found this camera in local shop yesterday, I could resist yesterday , but not today Wink I bought it, seems in perfect working order, just need to wait for sunny days.

Look forward to the samples, I haven't seen much from the Skopar.

Skopar is quiet common in folder cameras , Tessar type lens, capable performer , takes sharp , detailed images.
Big thing is here camera itself, very rare cam.

I didn't see what camera the lens is on. I have several with Skopar lenses but each camera is a different model.

Yes, rare and expensive I am curious about it's performance. I expect 'superb' results , based on my experience with Skopar lenses in medium format folders.

Thats the top of the Voitlander line of TLR.
They are on the same level as the Rolleiflex with the Tessar.

Yes right and lot more rare, I saw plenty of Rolleiflex and this is one of the firsts Superb what I found locally.
It was luck indeed, rarities are rare stand too much in local shop.

What is that with the engraved shuttertimes? Looks quite odd on the picture!?
Nice camera anyway, must be a pleasure to take it for a walk around.

There is a little angled mirror in front of it (the black item in the picture) so that you can read the shutter times from above - hence the mirrored engraving.
