Calling the modern Voigtländer lenses "Cosina-Voigtländer" has the reason that they have nothing to do with Voigtländer at all.

Thank God, because then they would be rather old designs.

They were caluclated by Cosina, produced by Cosina and have Cosina quality standards.

Which are pretty high, otherwise the quality of those "CV" lenses wouldn't be as great as it is.

If Cosina wasn't a good manufacturer, Zeiss would not have their lenses built by them, would they?

I do own (and love) three of those "CV" lenses and they don't stop to amaze me, no matter if used on the M8 or on such "difficult" sensors like ones of the NEX-3 and the NEX-7.

If you have diverging personal experiences, share them with us...

I recently came across a Voigtlander Ultron zoom in Nikon mount. 19-35/3.5-4.5
Anyone had any experience with this one?

If it's the same "Voigtländer" 19-35 I know it's not as good as the modern standard 18-55 kit lenses on APS-C

These Voigtländers have nothing to do with the good&old Voigtländer lenses.

Exactly. And they have nothing in common with the CV lenses.
