I was goin to buy this 90/3,5 few months ago in EF mount, but that time elmarit was more attarctive. Now I have NEX, I spotted it in LTM. so I grabbed it.
Detail in wide open sharp enough for me.
Contrast is very please to me, between bright and shadow is controlled well
crop 100%, you can see me at his eye
Thanks for viewing.. _________________ nex5, Olympus EPM1, yashica half 14, Canon eos 650 want to see samples of mine? please click My lenses

Well I hope same thing Attila, but I don't have much time. Here's other shot taken today in short time on my way home.
I took quick test yesterday evening compared it with Leitz elmar 90/4
but result too crap due bad light. Too bad my elmar is sold now
edit only crop resize and border
I hope I have more time to play with it this weekend.
ohh forgot to mention, all shot wideopen _________________ nex5, Olympus EPM1, yashica half 14, Canon eos 650 want to see samples of mine? please click My lenses

Thanks Kram
On first post I used portrait setting on NEX, while today shot used vivid mode
vivid mode is good in daylight, but too dark if the light is minimum
BTW I rather dissapoint of name APO here, I hope I won't get CA with it, but I still found PF, Elmar 90/4 is better in this case _________________ nex5, Olympus EPM1, yashica half 14, Canon eos 650 want to see samples of mine? please click My lenses

Sharp enough I guess,
I like sharp lens in wideopen, that I almost shot with it always full open. Stefan here's the full size crop, You can see purple fring in metal, center of forehead

Looks exactly as my 2.8/90 G Sonnar when it is wide open.
You need to close it one click and it will disappear.
If we assume it is a true apo lens and should not have purple fringing maybe this is because of the sensor? _________________ Stefan

have only a not so serious definition:

means extra-parliamentary opposition, maybe Voigtländer tries to do that with the Leica owners _________________ Thomas

very strong back light? no problem I still got detail
my nephew's ear got sun light
original B/W from NEX, I think it's stepped down
