Well, I killed two birds with one stone (bird murder) by testing a cam and a
lens I haven't tried before. Here's some test shots using Kodak Gold 200
film, scanned at 2400dpi on Epson 4490:
The viewfinder doesn't give you the whole picture when shooting with a
20 wide, some shocks and surprises when looking at the negs. Also, Bibble doesn't have lens correction for this lens, will need to make some
test files and send it to them.
Nice lens, Attila!

Nice shots Bill - welcome to the Flektomaniacs Club.
How do you like the Flek 20 now you've got one? |

Wow, guys, thanks!
Poilu, I used Noise Ninja Pro on all the sky and water shots, and didn't
adjust the default setting for sharpening at 60%.
Bob and Attila, just love this lens! And it would be a joy to use on a 5D,
but first I have to get the missus home from Thailand.
Richard, thanks, I was surprised that one came out like it did.
Cosmin, the Viv XC-3 is well-built but compact cam. I think you'd like it
if you found one. Like I said, I got this one for $25 with three lenses!
Just to add, the Kodak 200 was cut and sleeved this time and was quite
flat for scanning, plus almost dust free! I love what Reala 100 does, but
it is stiff and curly and a dust magnet! I kind of like the punchier colors
to the Kodak 200, too, being a colorholic! LOL
Thanks again, fellas!

Wow Bill. You sure did a nice job with that flek 20. The flek 20 and kodac gold are quite a combination.
The missus is coming back? You are not going their?
I love the Zeiss also. After I saw the detail in this crop I was really sold.
This is 900 wide so I hope its not over the limit and causes problems. I try to follow rules. _________________ Ron |

Yes, the missus is coming home for a few years. Thailand is going through
some growing pains, and I need to see how things are settling down over
there.
