My father has a couple of old Vivitar lenses (a 28mm, and a 70-150, I think the latter made by Tokina) with broken Canon FD mounts. From a cursory inspection, it looks like the mounts come off the lenses (I noticed a screw in the side of each mount). I presume they were produced with different attachable mounts for different cameras.

Does anyone know what the mounts were called (I mean the piece that attaches to the lens on one side, and is a normal mount on the other), and how to get hold of them (preferably M42 mount versions for flexibility via adapters)?
