Hi all!

I have heard that the vivitar series one 90mm f2.5 is very sharp but how about the vivitar 90mm f2.8? Have anybody got anything info or images with this lense?

Thanx, Runar

I've got the Komine made Vivitar 135mm F2.8 macro (big brother to the 90mm F2.8 which Voytek posted samples of) which goes to 1:2 without tubes or adapters & it is an excellent lens just like the 90mm version...Can't go wrong with the Komine made macro's either...

AFAIK basically the same lens (although there seems to be some differences regarding the minimum aperture) has been sold as:
Vivitar 90mm F2.8 Macro
Elicar V-HQ Macro 90mm F2.5
Panagor Auto Macro 90mm F2.8

and Soligor C/D Macro 90mm F2.5 which I have in PK-A mount. (I'm trying to sell this to finance other purchases)

I heard the 90mm macro was a tokina design. The 105mm is a Kiron as is the lester dine right?

90mm was offered in both Tokina & Komine variations & the 100 & 105 were only in Kino (aka Kiron) as was the Lester A Dine
