Hienot kuvat. I especially get a kick out of the photos of the soldiers in the background, so prototypically Finnish. That bicycle hoop is spring mounted!

These old skates brings me memories because I saw some very old ones
when I was young because at school.

if someone didn't had any skis or skates they had to use what scool had to offer...
Usually they where quite old..
Skis where old which needed tar treatment Very Happy

Love the pictures - lens is one of my favourites.. The guy wont have any more punctures at least.

Acctually looking at that wheel, i think its genious. Are you sure its repaired like that and not built like it? It looks to me like it could have been made that way, especially if it was by the army. Since riding a bicycle in a city that have been hit by the warmachine usually will puncture ordinary tires instantly.

That looks flexible enough to be rather comfortable, if not even more comfortable then the aircushin in an ordinary tire. Ofcourse, it would not last for as long as air, but still. A small layer of rubber on that and youd be fit for quite a while.
