Hi!

Here are a few more from the same lens and camera combination as this series:

In this series, there is essentially no post-processing other than JPEG conversion.

It's hard to express how good this lens feels in the hands. I'd recommend it for that reason alone, even if it didn't give results as pleasing as it does.

1. Shell pink flower, f2.8, minimum focal distance of ~0.3m.

2. Pink and white flowers, f4, about 0.5m.

3. Ripe berry clusters, f8, distance about 0.6m.

4. Not-quite-ripe berry cluster, f5.6, minimum focal distance of ~0.3m. Some distracting bokeh, rare for this lens.

Cheers!

The Adaptamatics are certainly nice to use.
Maybe because they are all oversize, the focus travel seems to make them rather easy to focus. Thats one factor anyway.
A trait shared with other lenses like this, such as some older auto lenses like the Tokina T4's.
One big lens I like a lot is the Pre-AI Nikkor-Q 135/2.8.
