For your taste I would say Velvia. I personally prefer the more balanced tones of Provia. Both are slides. When there are buildings, Velvia often is too much saturation.

2) Portrait

Kodak Portra 160 (negative)

3) Site seeing

hm, I'm not sure, what is this?

I usually never used interiors specific film, because I made so few shots of this kind. I always used natural light, or, when using tungsten, I would balance with blue filter.

Ah, ok. Then a normal good slide like Provia is the best choice for me.

I tend to shoot Fuji pro 160S and 400H both 35 and 120 film. I do have a roll of 800 in 35mm and Velvia in 120, but I haven't got around to shooting with them.

I like Ilford XP2 and use it quite a lot. I think I pick these films because they are cheaper than Kodak.

I pick speed based on what I think light will be, but obviously I haven't got to the point of figuring which film where... thank you Orio for the guide, I think this will be very helpful...

Oh, it's only my personal preferences... by no means a guide...
