I was out of touch with photography (and eBay) from last 3-4 months...
There were few reason... work.. and mainly was busy with family stuff...
Last month was great time in our life... first, am back on eBay , Photography and...
I am finally able to snatch Takumar 135mm f3.5 "Preset" model. I paid around $39 (inc S&H). I was behind with lens from a long time.. But didnt get a chance to use yet and no pic with me to show...
Just last weekend, I am able to get a bunch of lenses from a local seller (Craigslist listing). I got this lot for $100..
The lot has (all screw mount),
Pentax Spotmatic Camera (with new battery)
Super-Takumar 50mm f1.4
Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 50mm f4.0 Macro (later version reaches to half size, not 1:1)
Vivitar 135mm f2.5 (Ser num: 37xxxx)
Starblitz 28-80mm f3.5-4.5 Macro (has Macro switch, which I think, extends distance between sensor and last optical element)
Formula-5 28mm f2.8
Vivitar ext tubes
Vivitar 202 flash,
Vintage Fan flash system, Lot of manuals and body/lens caps, cleaner fluid, brush etc etc....
But this really is not the addition...
We were blessed with baby girl on 10th of July, Aanika.
Who can be the best subject for testing the new lens.
Captured with S-M-C Takumar 50mm f4.0, wide open.. in very harsh condition, considering lens is f4.0 wide open...
I like the monochrome version too,
And a blasphemous act, Captured with Panasonic Lumix P&S camera,
Cheers... _________________ -Ballu

Those are some excellent additions to the family.
Aanika is such a beautiful name and she's already so gorgeous. Our eldest's middle name is Annikki...
... and come to think of it, my lens' name is Takumar... Small world, no?
Congrats to you and mom and baby. _________________ -Jussi

You now have a willing model for many years before she gets too self-conscious !
I regret I did not take advantage that way when mine were so young ! _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |
