I've been trying for a Bird in Flight (BIF) for quite a while. Its not a bit easy.
I got luckier than usual today, so far these are the best I have managed - these with that cheap Focal 200/4.5, but I'm sure any other would have been as (in)effective.
I set aperture to f/8 (so the focus confirm still works) and try to follow focus. Maybe that Novoflex rig might work here.
Yes, this last would have been OK except for the framing. Its hard enough to get the focus more-or-less on, the framing will have to take care of itself. Maybe I should crop. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

All three of them are great captures knowing well how hard it is to catch them!

#3 would be a great shot it's a pity it's a bit out of the frame. |
