May I make a cropping suggestion? you gain impact by loosing the distractions but lose some context

Bob, yes I was looking at the crop, I was actually at work and had to get this one online from the drug store cd... used the flickr picknic editor, which is ok but does screw things up.

That indeed is what I was eyeing, perhaps a bit wider. Thank you.

BTW I vote for no crop. I like to have the context, and the subject is strong enough to call for attention without the need of isolating it.

Thank you everyone once again. I haven't had a chance to do a proper job with this image yet... and I realized I'd had a brain freeze about the lens. I sort of thought that the Tamron-f was looking awful good - better than I knew it to be - until I remembered I haven't put any M42 lenses on the KX.

The lens is the SMC-A 28mm 2.8 with a polarizer on it.
