I'm watching my daughters two cats for a week so I thought I better get a few pictures.

This is Sammy. To bad I didn't get his tail, but with him in constant motion and me trying to focus I was lucky to get this. He laid down and looked at me, I focused and snapped.

Makes me think of a beer, that used to be popular.

Sweet capture of the eyes.

Oh I am so amazed ! I never seen this blue eyes before ! AMAZING!!

Can you make closer shoots from eyes only ?

Cute micione Very Happy
Is the eyes colour really natural or did you push saturation on it?

PostPosted: Wed Jul 16, 2008 2:26 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

Nice cat Ron! with such blue eyes you will surely catch many nice shots

PostPosted: Wed Jul 16, 2008 2:37 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

Thanks guys.

That is the color of the eyes. I did nothing to them.

I will either crop this or get another shot close to the face to show his eyes.

He loves me and won't leave me alone. I have to be careful I don't step or set on him.

I should add that this was with the flek 2.4/35mm.

I love a to see a closer shoot instead of crop a crystal clear close-up shot more amazing than an average quality crop.

To make a real closeup of cat face you should bring the lens near to his nose but then he would do like Melissa who wanted to noseprint my Makro-Planar Rolling Eyes

Hahaha, you have some very nice 135mm and 180mm lenses too.

Attila, Attila, Attila, have you forgot that this is the flek 2.4/35mm that I got from you? Crops from this lense, that does everything by itself, are pretty good when I pay attention. Just to show you here is a crop. Hope you like it guys. I will try Orio's nose print trick later when I have time.

Attila, I would be honored if you use it. Do you want the big crop or the original?

By hi-res do you mean 300dpi instead of 72 dpi and/or resized or what?

where do I send it?

I should mention that that was at f/5.6.

Many thanks again! Do you have any personal site I would like to show your copyright or let me know what should I put below the image as author.

The original is RAW, a very big file. I'll convert to JPG and save for web. Or do you want different?

Just Copyright Ron Morse.

Ron, I think what Chris was saying is you should've been a farmer...great
crops! Laughing

That IS a lucky shot for an older guy to make, superb focus! Cool Wink

Remembering to take your Geritol sure helps with a shot like this. Laughing

It wasn't me Bill. The lense does it all itself.

No Geritol for me. Cardboard box wine, Puerto Rican rum and large doses of beer.

You can run, but don't stop for long. Actually I don't hurt anybody or anything these days.
