I own first sample that lens quite long. But was unsatisfied with it. There is the story:

The new sample Mamiya Sekor 645 C N 35mm f3.5, which I obtained recently looks some better. However, also only quite bearable, and at the closed diaphragms.

There is photo at 11.0:

That's why Mamiya did release the Sekor D AF 4.5/28 mm ... The old computation was good enough for film, but not for high-res meduim format sensors. I've been testing the Sekor C 3.5/35mm using the Zörk Shift adapter and my A900 / A7RII cameras (resulting in 54 MP and 95 MP images, and a stitched Sensor size of 54 x 36mm respectively). The results weren't impressive; an A7RII plus Zeiss Loxia 2.8/21mm is much better.

Well:

If you're using the XF or DF+ with a FF back, and IQ in the corners is important, the 35LS is a great piece of glass. On a 1.3X back, I think you could get away with one of the 28's.

Well, my P25 back has the 1.1X factor

That's marketing gibberish. The person writing the above was/is running the Phase One show room for Los Angeles. He certainly prefers to sell a 35LS since the Mamiya 4.5/28mm is discontinued.

The Mamiya 4.5/28mm was designed not only for 1.3x and 1.1x backs, but for film (1.0x) as well:
