Nice, I love the first and third ones the most. You get so many great captures per week Bill. It's impressive. The colors and composure af the third shot is fantastic. _________________ Moderator |

Thanks, Andy, glad you like #3! I have some mixed feelings about most

Yeah I really like 3. It looks maybe like a pretty tight crop from a larger frame maybe I'm wrong though. It is the colors and shapes that make a very soothing scene. _________________ Moderator |

Andy, #3 is whole frame, uncropped, I try to catch exactly what I want
without cropping, sometimes it doesn't work out that way.
Thanks, Poilu! This was late afternoon light, maybe I will try morning light
next time.
Here's the view of the causeway from the other side, different lighting:
and yet another flower pic:
Lenses were the 28mm and the 50mm, correspondingly.
Yes, I really like these Zuikos, will be looking for more of them!

This 28mm looks gorgeous, Bill.
Zuikos wide angles have outstanding reputation and it's easy to see why.
As for the 50mm lens, the bokeh speaks for itself
You have two winners there.
I like the big leaves pictures and the one with the pond and the two crane statues. _________________ Orio, Administrator

You're not the only one ! Your pics motivated me to buy a second Olympus 50mm to adapt on my Samsung ... (didn't want to butcher the first 'cause it looks sooooo cute on the OM10 )
And indeed, great results ! (and easy to change the mount, at least on the 50mm). |

Thanks for your kind words, fellas! Be advised I've seen work from each
one of you that I find amazing!
These Zuikos, like Andy stated, don't require removing the adapter from
the camera, this is so convenient when your hiking about and you want
to change lenses for particular shots! My next find (hopefully) will be a
small tele, perhaps a zoom.
Thanks again,
Bill |
