....crop these photos?

They are not the greatest shots, they were taken during the brightest sun of the day. These are the full frame versions, I tried to come up with a pleasing crop and realized how much I still needed to learn. I would be interested to see what others would do and a little explanation as to why. Thanks!

I agree with Carsten on the classic crop of the burgundy day lily.

The second - Stella d'Oro I think, a variation of Carstens radical crop, cause I don't think the spent bloom fits in and concentating on the smaller are gives a more intense image.
