I got my focus confirmation adapter for the Yashica 50mm f/1.7 today.
Another very nice M/F lense.

F/ 5.6 as I remember.

I think this one was f/2.8

Well done Ron! I especially like #2. Looks like you are getting good color rendition from that lens as well.

I am part way through a roll of film in the camera that Larry sent me (thanks again), it is my first go at really manually focusing a camera. On my digital cameras and my F5, I have been using the focus confirmation. No such convenience on the Revueflex. Results should be interesting to say the least, as I wear glasses but do not wear them when shooting.

The Yashica ML 50/1.7 is a very nice little lens that you put to the best use. Really good looking photos.

Thanks Mike and Poilu. I fear I'm starting to like these old lenses too much. I think now that I will get a focus confirmation adapter for the flek also. So much easier for these 65 year old eyes.

Some nice ones, Ron! That adapter looks like it's working very well for
you!

Thank you very much Orio.

Thanks Bill. The adapter is right on the money. The plain adapter for my flek is, I think, to thin. It goes beyond infinity a little.

Better to go beyond infinity than to fall short (which happens to most every other lens on my Nikons).

Great colours you have captured and what a super sharp lens.

Thanks Rob.

Mike, I would prefer it work like it should. I think the focus confirm will be a big boost.

Nice control of DOF, that always throws me.

Schnauzer (young man) - love all of them. I was surprised by this lens too when I first tried it. I have also recently tried the mamiya 55/1.4 which seems just as good and also cheap.
