A nice camera that can work on manual modes, but has autowinder. Very comfortable to use.

Some samples with cheap film. Not a good shooting day, overcast and bright light:

And ugly Smile.

Nice photos. You just gotta love that film look.
Surpricingly good images from that wideangle zoom. Can you post some crops with more detail?

Well, it's a matter of taste, I don't find it so ugly Wink

Here you have the 100% crops. Take into account that they're from cheaps scans at the lab:

Thanks, Poilu!

the Big Feet are an initiative of the Mayor's Office of my village, to remind us that it's much better to walk than to drive. In a small village, people trend to pick the car too often, when is absolutely not necessary, because one can quickly reach any border of the village just walking for a few minutes.

Interesting camera Jes.
What metering mode(s) does it offer?
Can the ISO of the film be set manually?

According to the k-mount bible Smile.

Center-weighted or spot-metering
Only DX-iso.

Right!

The interesting thing is the auto winder, that is located inside the body and makes shooting very fast. The only negative point is that without a battery doesn't shot at all.

Jes.

Very nice camera. I have the SF10, for many years, which is almost the same.

Metering is very accurate and this is one of the few cameras where you can leave it on automatic and expect good results.

These are very durable and reliable cameras and the prices are very low.

If anyone wants a solid PK-mount camera with all the automatic features they can't do better than these.

Agreed with all comments I had an SF7 til recently and sold it as I needed some money and space, great camera, never let me down and the batteries lasted for ever, it would be hard to find a better Pentax body. Very Happy

Luis, Poolhall,

Nice to hear your positive comments on this body. I still keep some Pentax bodies (too many to my taste) so if I have to discard any, for sure won't be the SF7.

Regards,

Jes.

Great set, i like a lot pentax lenses and especially the 135 rendition on film.
Not to mention i have to revaluate the Kodak gold film, doesn't seems bad at all.
