great comparison.
The Sonnar is that the MC version or the Zebra?
i assume that the preset Pentacon, is the Orestegor version?
Both outputs have excellent colors, but also shows that both have different strengths, the Sonnar is much sharper full open, but the Pentacon has a nicer bokeh. _________________ No longer member , please don't try to contact to him |

I agree, although the Zeiss (as seems to be the usual) offers better contrast.
Would use the Pentacon for dreamy shots and the Zeiss for sharp ones - keep both

Not only have different characteristics if they need different lights. The Pentacon, has the best Bokeh in situations of low contrast of light like a sunset. Greetings _________________ Canon 5D II-Sony nex 6

I guess I would just have to try it, to take the doubts
I didn't do any tests at all, but intuitively it seems my pentacon auto MC is less sharp than the preset... _________________ Canon 7d (Movie mode)

The question is: What is your reason for happiness? Photographically speaking ....
The Pentacom MC should be a little sharper than the preset. It is possible to have a thin layer of oil?
