Hi,
which of the two Orestor lenses, the 100mm f2.8 and the 135 f2.8, is in your opinion better in terms of sharpness WO, overall sharpness and artistic rendering?
Thanks. |

I would say, that 100/2.8 is sharper across the frame and have less CA.

A 100mm lens always sharper than a 135mm from same maker, but sharpness is not all. 135mm f2.8 has own charm , famous bokeh monster and well deserve this nick name. _________________ -------------------------------

Not sure we can generalize that statement. Nikon's sharpest lenses are in the telephoto range. |

Thanks woodrim. I think I will go for the 100mm. It is a bit more expensive, but on the other hand it is smaller, lighter and I was looking anyway for a tele lens around the 100mm focal lens.
Cheers. |

They both great lenses and have their own charm. If you go for the 100mm I'd avoid the 6 blade Auto lens and go for the 14 blade version. If you always shoot wide open, then those six blades won't matter and you'll have a bit of money left from the purchase! _________________ https://simonforsterphotographic.co.uk/
