Not sure we can generalize that statement. Nikon's sharpest lenses are in the telephoto range. |

Thanks woodrim. I think I will go for the 100mm. It is a bit more expensive, but on the other hand it is smaller, lighter and I was looking anyway for a tele lens around the 100mm focal lens.
