SMC Pentax 400-600 reflex zoom

I'm thinking about buying this beast, but I can't find good samples of it's IQ. Does anyone here has or had one of these?

Marcus, I know of only one other Mirror zoom. It was sold under a few different brand names: Soligor, and Starblitz and also Cambron, which was Cambridge Camera's house brand label. That lens was a 500-800mm f/8-11 optic. Performance was just okay from what I've read. There was a thread here on this lens dating back to 2009:

Based on the evaluations, I'd have to say it's an excellent lens. Which doesn't surprise me, it being a Pentax and all.
