Orio

That looks like a very nice Tessar you have there. What a fun way to test it - and it seems to have passed the test.

I have made a different develop by moving the white point near to the end of histogram.
This causes a higher contrast, which I do not like, but has the advantage that the white looks whiter.
What version do you prefer?

I prefer the last one as the first reminds me too much of grey 18% exposition seven if probably the white is correct (overcast weather and old wall).

The Tessar 40/4.5 is one of the finest lens I own, it always delivers more than you expect.

I'd also prefer the second one, because white is white but still there is all the detail you need! Very good development (and nice lens).

I also like the second version, although it seems you may have taken it just a tiny bit too far. The lower left corner and some areas on the sills seem to be a tad bit too 'hot'. Far better than i would achieve (unless I got lucky), I would have gotten frustrated trying to get it just right and trashed it.

Thanks for the feedback. I will keep the second version.
