So, it's the end of the year 2015. So for this year:

1. What's your most satisfying lens purchase (this year)?

2. What's your most used lens (this year)?

3. What's your favorite lens (of all time)?

Nice topic. Always interest to see how other people's lens world is!

What's your most satisfying lens purchase (this year)?
I've had many great ones this year, but the recent Canon f/0.95 'Dream Lens' for $500 was very satisfying Smile

2. What's your most used lens (this year)?
Most likely M42 Carl Zeiss Ultron 1.8/50.

3. What's your favorite lens (of all time)
Probably a tie between the Ultron and Yashinon DS-M 1.2/55. Can't get enough of that rendering.

1)It would have to be the Canon TV-16 1.4/50 lens...a great little lens
2)Canon FL1.2/58,just because its on the XE-1
3)Carl Zeiss Jena Pancolar 2/50

If I were to add the most satisfying camera purchase for this year, it would be buying a used Fuji XE-1...love this camera.

Couldn't agree more.
Great camera and my favourite photographic tool.

1)Fujifilm X-E1
2)a nifty-fifty - my favourite FL. Several get used, but whatever is on the camera at the time is the most likely
3)Super Takumar 1.4/50 eight element

If we're talking about our favourite camera purchases this year, that'd be the Asahi Pentax Super Program I bought this year.

1) Difficult to answer. Too many interesting lenses, but none them really outstanding. Maybe the rare Mamiya CS 3.5/45-90mm ?? Or the nFD 4/200mm Macro?? Or the Topcor 4/20mm?
2) Minolta AF 2.8/200 APO G HS: small, lightweight, and excellent ...
3) Minolta AF 2.8/200 APO G HS

1. It's definitely the Canon R 85mm f1.9 Very Happy
2. I am not sure but maybe it's my Canon FD 50mm f1.4. Compact and all-around. 50mm lenses is really easy to handle ( I have 4 or 5 50mm lenses)
3. The Nikkor-PC 28mm f3.5, though I haven't spent much time for it yet

Nice post and interesting answers

1) Canon LTM 50 f/1.2
2) Carl Zeiss Sonnar MC 135 f/3.5
3) Carl Zeiss Planar T* 85 f/1.4

Most satisfying camera.... mmmm 50/50 between Hasselblad 500 CM and a Graflex 22 mod 200.

1. CV15III
2. Either the CV15III or my Contax G45/2
3. Hmmm, I'm really starting to love my X-Fujinon 28/1.9, I still love my Rokkor 58/1.2, and also love my Topcors:85/1.8, 90/3.5, and 135/3.5, woe is me.... I guess I'll pick the Fujinon.

1) This year I bought 4 lenses only, none of which super-interesting - possibly Soligor 200/2.8 being the most. Also a Minolta 50/1.4 but came with fungus. However, from the MF point of view, the most satisfying purchase was a Nex-6, in substitution of a Nex-3 but also gaining usage on my 60D - I find myself using it more and more, in particular for MF.

2) Collapsible Industar 22 on Nex (I do many short trips for work, and I use Nex + Industar 22 + Industar 69 as travel kit)

3) Possibly Voigtlander Color Ultron, although this year I used it rarely. Beautiful colors.

1) Samyang 135mm f/2.0 ED UMC
2) CZJ MC Flektogon 35mm f/2.4
3) Jupiter-37A 135mm f/3.5

-due advanced LBA symptom, doctor said "no more lens purchase"! Wink
Even so, I ONLY could NOT miss 3 bargains which included a FD 100mm F4 macro that was the most satisfyaing purchase of the year..

2. What's your most used lens (this year)?

My mind was telling me it shoud be Minolta Rokkor 45mm f2 since it was always on bag and got used often, but after checking files on computer the true answer is Canon FD 80-200 F4 L.

Hard to choose between very nice lenses, but Contax Distagon 1.4/35mm is nothing more than stellar no matter i) bad photographer or ii) bad light conditions Happy Cat

1) a humble helios 103. I mean, I have and I bought better lenses, but that was a great surprise under every aspect: it produces good images, it is beautifully built, and it just fits perfectly my a7s. Also, it was as expensive as a pizza.

2) Probably the distagon 2.8/28

3)W-nikkor.c 2.5/35: I don't really know what is my favourite, but I know what lens I'd choose if I was forced to keep only one.
The little nikkor is versatile, it looks "old" and swirly (but still perfectly usable) wide open, and it cleans up and becomes more "modern" when stopped down. It's extremely small, well built and 35mm is probably my favourite focal length.

So, who wins the award? Smile

StillSanj, congrats on the 0.95, I hope to see many pictures from it.

Most satisfying lens purchase is the Oscillo Paragon 75mm f1.9 mainly because i got it so cheap and love the rendering.

Most used lens is the OKP1-35-1 35 mm f1.2 "ОКП" heavy vignetting but great for portraits.

My favourite lens will probably be the Helios 44-2, i do not really like the way the lens looks but was one of my first manual lenses and is still a lovely performer. Ishould really start taking it out more.
Nice topic.
