It seems to be in excellent shape. I took it out this morning for a test. It doesn't focus as close as more modern lenses, but thats something that became more common in later times.
It flares more when wide-open than what I am used to, probably because it isn't as well coated as a Takumar. It does have a very "pictorial" quality under those conditions. I am pleased with it.
