[AF] Portrait bonanza with Pentax FA* 85/1.4 and DA* 55/1.4

I seem to be in one of my AF periods again

Anyway, here are some of my portraits with both lenses. The DA* 55 should give a FOV the FA* 85/1.4 had on film, so it doesn't surprise that the FA* 85/1.4 has a shorter DOF.

I now really wish to try the Planar 85/1.4 (C/Y version) and the SMC Pentax-A* 85/1.4 (which I never liked, maybe I haven't used it extensively enough)

Interestingly the old FA* focuses faster, even though the DA* has the "benefit" of a built-in AF motor. Pentax has still a lot to learn here.

Again: kudos to Jun Hirakawa for the design of both lenses! (He even seems to have his own Japanese Fan Club )
