I was out and about with the family at one of the local camping spots...I enjoyed this lens with its wide angle ability,so very handy for a walk around lens.I struggled to get the sharpness on a few of these. The colors surprised me as they came across very green,I played with the contrast on most of these.

Very Happy I suppose I am not used to this area being so green...usually brown and dry and half the water....glad I could bring a little summer your way.

Mo, you may be interested in my limited experience with this lens, reported in this thread:

I remember reading that thread, this lens has the serial 2212****.I have used it on close up images and it seems to work a lot better just not at F2.8 as the softness is too much.

Your lens was made by Kiron, for Vivitar. At the time, the Kiron edition got very high marks in testing. Kiron eventually fazed it out, in order to introduce the even better, Kiron 28-105. Your lens will deliver very nice results.

Thanks I had read it was the "better" version to have...I just have to work it out and get used to its abilities. Very Happy
